Padmavathi College of Physiotherapy - Dharmapuri is started by Sri Balaji Educational Trust under the G.O ms No. 738 Health and Family welfare department dated 31.05.1993 permitting an yearly intake of 50 students. This college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University under the official proceedings Rc No. 22915/Affin (3)/93 dated 21.12.1993. Padmavathi College of Physiotherapy - Dharmapuri was subsequently recognized by the Indian Association of physiotherapists. This Science Physiotherapy, is a field of physical therapy, it is as old as human civilization, but recently it has gained much popularity among the medical man; It is a profession ancient techniques made modern by the application of scientific techniques much to the relief ailing disabled, inferred patients. It is a greatly developed categorically modernized science of treating disability, injury and disease by external physical means such as electricity, heat. light, massage exercise etc.

There are separate hostels for men and women in Padmavathi College of Physiotherapy - Dharmapuri campus itself. The room rent and establishment charges will be fixed reasonably by the management. Arrangements have been made for washing clothes, which are to be collected and delivered periodically at the student's expenses. A fully qualified Medical Attendant is available at the campus.
