Panchkula Engineering College-PEC campus is located on NH-73, 25 Kms from Chandigarh, 18 Kms from Panchkula and is spread over an area of 15 acres. Apart from buildings, the campus is beautifully designed with lush green lawns and aesthetically laid ornamental trees. The peaceful, pollution-free and natural environment is conducive for the all round development of the students.
Panchkula Engineering College-PEC has a well stocked Library having more than 6300 books with adequate sitting arrangement. Sufficient number of Journals, Magazines of International and National Standards are available in the library. Photocopying facility is also available in the library for both the faculty as well as for the students. The college has become a member of DELNET&INDEST to ensure online access to books and journals. In addition to this “BOOK-BANK” facility has been extended to the students.
Panchkula Engineering College-PEC maintains separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus with a common dinning area. The students are provided with triple occupancy rooms. The hostels have common room facilities, indoor games, satellite television and telephone. Maintenance of discipline in the hostels is the responsibility of the students ad the wardens. Confirming to the regulations framed in this behalf is mandatory.
Panchkula Engineering College-PEC has a health care centre on its premises. A highly qualified and experienced doctor is serving as a consultant and available at designated hours. The rooms are well ventilated with proper lighting system, built-in and portable black/green boards, equipped with Slide Projector, Overhead projector, Computers, and television with CD, DVD player & LCD Projector. Computer Centre is well established with 250 HCL computer systems with latest configuration and 17” TFT screens. All the computers are networked with high speed Cat 5E cables and are provided with 1 Mb internet bandwidth.
One of the most technology intensive laboratories in the college is surely one of the best available in engineering colleges today. Significant investment has been made to ensure that the lab has all the necessary equipment and all of it in working order. All the necessary instruments like tachometer, best quality function generators, voltmeters, ammeters, watt meters and a.c. and d.c. motors are available.
