Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan - Jammu was established on 1.4.1971 under the feet of Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, a holy pilgrimage. The campus is running since 14.7.1971 in rented building. The State Government of J & K has allotted land at Bhalwal for the building of the campus. Construction of the building is to be completed very soon. The Campus is pursuing research work leading to the Degree of Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D) and imparting education in Sahitya, Vyakarana, Jyotish and Sarvadarshan at post-graduate and graduate level and Shiksha Shastri at graduate level. Computer education is also imparted in the Campus. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan - Jammu provides Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Doctoral program to the College students.
