I have a problem. I renewed my subscription to Redbook for two years on October six, 2014. That subscription was to start March 2015, upon the completion of my previous subscription, and was a 13 month renewal. That means that it will not end until March 2016 Why am I receiving renewal notices stating that my subscription will end 6/23/2015. Please check your records and communicate with me as soon as possible.

I started receiving a Redbook magazine issue just recently. My account (1440567970) states payment date was 12/19/2014. I am completely baffled - i never ordered the magazine, let alone paid for it. Who ordered this magazine, how was it paid for and how did they get my address? Should i be concerned about identity theft? I have no other explanation as to how Redbook could initiate an account for me and start sending me magazines with an expiration date of 12/2015. If i can not get a satisfactory answer, i will file a formal complaint with a consumer group. Thank you.

Hi lynn. My experience is. Companies get a list of names. They generate an account and send the magazine in hopes that you will want to continue it and pay for it.
All you have to do is send the bill back with cancel subscription or call and tell them to cancel. You do not have to pay for it if you do not want it. I wouldn't be concerned about identity theft. If you have ever ordered anything before. Not necessarily a magazine. Companies sell lists of names to each other to keep their business going. It's maddening, but they do that with a lot of stuff. That's why we get so much junk mail now days.

Ms. Nancy Beane CallsSep 01, 2013

Ms. Nancy Beane On Phone To Redbook USA Service
I just paid my bill by calling the 800 no, but I am not happy. I tried to pay online this summer. I was paying both for Good Housekeeping and Redbook. The Good Housekeeping payment went through immediately, but Redbook would not. I sent an email complaining, and all I got back was some email saying my issue was being looked into. I never heard from anyone again. I do not have time to make multiple attempts to pay a bill. I looked in the Redbook magazine at the time for a phone number, but, of course, there was not one. It said to go online. How frustrating since I had already done that to no avail! When I received the bill today, I went back to the magazine, forgetting that no toll free number is there. I called the Atlanta office listed in the mag, but a message said to call the toll free number listed in the magazine. Puleeeze I found the number online and paid the bill. It won't let me write more. You need to do better! Nancy
