SV Agricultural College – Tirupati was formed in the year 1961 on the 21st of October under Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. Initially, when the college was formed, it was started with four year degree course on B. Sc Agriculture with student strength of 80. Initially, the college was affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University and it was brought under Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University only in the year 1964. Later in the year 1968, the college introduced two year Master of Science in agriculture and in ten more important disciplines of education in a slow, but in a steady manner.
