It was established in 2006.The Star Aviation Academy-SAA has beautiful campus developed on a vast land of ……. sq. mtr. area located at P-76-78, New Palam Vihar, Gurgaon just 3-4 Km from Bijwasan (Delhi). The campus has all basic and recreational amenities such as canteen, bookshop, play fields, indoor and outdoor games, and instructional administrative and residential areas. We impart to the students the skills which they would need in their daily life as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. We endeavor to give them, in addition, an overview of Modern Communication Systems used in Aircraft and Airlines, make them familiar with International Airlines Communication systems and Maintenance control System which is must for the modern engineer. When aviation sector was opened to private participation, this sector grew at a fast pace. A large number of Aircraft were inducted to fill the vaccum in air operations. However, training the manpower takes time. Building institution takes time. Hence availability of manpower could not keep pace with the growth in aviation sector.
Star Aviation Academy-SAA has taken up this challenge to full fill the Industry’s requirement of providing aviation professionals. At Star Aviation Academy, our experienced and knowledgeable faculty ensures that we produce a task force which meets the requirements of maintenance and safe operation of present day sophisticated aircraft.
At Star Aviation Academy-SAA, we lay stress on theoretical and practical part of the training so that confident and knowledgeable maintenance personnel can be available to aviation industry. The academy is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India to impart Training in Mechanical stream.
The
Star Aviation Academy-SAA has elegant building, which includes spacious and well equipped workshops, class rooms, Internet lab, well stocked library, Faculty Rooms, Conference room, Seminar Rooms and Administrative areas. On Job Training after passing five theory and practical semesters students are to undergo 6 months on job training. This training involves to exposure of students to actual aircraft maintenance environment. Students are either sent to an airline or Aircraft Maintenance Organizations for this training. Training can also be conducted on the aircraft held in the academy to give the students the required knowledge and skills. Training is organized by the academy. However a certain students like to arrange it for themselves they can do so.
