Tuljaram Chaturchand College - Pune was started in June, 1962 by Anekant Education Society which is established in 1961 under the table guidance of Late Shri Fulchandji Gandhi, Education Minister of the Former Hyderabad State. The founder President of the Society Late Shriman Seth Lalchand Hirachand Doshi, founder President of Premier Automobiles Ltd. And Walchand group of Industries was keen on staffing the college with the best talent.

Tuljaram Chaturchand College - Pune Library started functioning right from its inception in 1962. It is one of the biggest and rich libraries in the rural region of University of Pune. Library has occupied an area over 11,638 Sq Ft. covering two spacious Reading Rooms, Stacking Section with Cubicles, Text book section, Periodical section, Cyber zone, Lecture Hall and Administrative Section. Tuljaram Chaturchand College - Pune library is enriched with huge collection of books, journals, bound volumes, audio-visual materials on various subjects. It has specialized collection of Jain Literature, Mahatma Gandhi, Vet. Maharashtra Poet 'Kavivarya Moro pant' and Reference Books including thesis and dissertations along with manuscripts. Various researchers and scholars are always attracted to this library due to its varied collection. The Library renders its services on all working days from 7.00 AM to 6.00 PM. and 7.00 to 12.00 midnight during examinations.
Tuljaram Chaturchand College - Pune has a network of over 200 computers powered with Gigabit Fiber Optic Backbone and 100 MBPS Intel switches. Apart from this we have 60 thin clients in our network. This is a Heterogeneous network environment. Tuljaram Chaturchand College - Pune have 6 labs in the computer department. Each lab contains 30 computers with internet facility. These labs are engaged from Monday to Saturday since morning 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. The students and the staff members make complete use of these labs.
We have hygienic separate mess in the girls and the boy’s hostel and a very good common canteen in Tuljaram Chaturchand College - Pune campus, where they provide fresh and testy refreshment right from morning to till evening. We have specious, fully air conditioned, equipped with the modern ICT for organizing conferences, PTA's and other presentation Etc. The seating capacity is around 25-30 members. However, because of increased student strength and growing job opportunities, Tuljaram Chaturchand College - Pune authorities decided to establish a placement cell which will be fruitful in making available the job opportunities to the students. The placement officer is regularly in touch with various industries and organizations about their requirement and he arranges campus interviews as per their convenience throughout year.
