This campus boosts of iMac computer suites for multimedia design, games art and digital arts practice all using latest softwares like Adobe Mater Suite, 3D Studio Mac 2009 and Pixologic ZBrush.
University Campus Barnsley: This Campus, located at Yorkshire and was opened in 2005. The campus has a strong environmental focus and thus uses recycling facility for student’s resources. The university provides facilties in fields like music, arts, design, journalism and media production. Other additional services include video conferencing, web casting equipment and digital studio.
Hostel: The Storthes Hall Park Student Village and Ashenhurst Student Houses is the approved accommodation for the university as University of Huddersfield - Bradford doesn’t have its own hostel. Storthes Hall Park located in Parkland, south of the town offers expensive yet a preferable accommodation option for freshers. It offers student friendly services like easy access to university and the city with the university Bus Shuttle Service. The room services include single, double or disabled student’s room, accommodating six to eight students in shared flats, each having its independent kitchen-dining facilities with essential equipments like microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster etc. Internet facility is also available for each of the rooms. Ashernhurst Houses is mostly preferred by international and first years students. It is closely located to the campus and provide both standard and deluxe rooms shared by six to eight students and other facilities include,kitchen dining area with freezers, cookers, microwaves etc. Also broadband is available at the place of accommodation.
Infrastructure: The entire infrastructure system aims to link the network of the branch campuses, buildings and libraries so as to make network accessible and flexible for all. For this purpose the university is upgrading it’s network system.
