Alexander James "Alex" Thomson is a British television Presenter and journalist. He was born on 22 December 1960 in Hampshire. Alex Thomson is a graduate from Oxford, and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Cardiff University. Alex Thomson has been associated with BBC television and radio, and has also written books on India and the Gulf War. He has covered major international conflicts and other issues for Channel 4 News, part of ITN as presenter and chief correspondent.
