Alan Trounson is a well known American biologist. He also renders his services as the President of California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). He was appointed for the post in the year 2007. Alan Trounson also established the National Biotechnology Centre of Excellence and serves as its Executive Vice Chairman.
