Brian Patrick Lamb is the founder of C-Span. He was born on October 9, 1941 in Lafayette, Indiana, U.S. Brain Lamb is also a journalist and former CEO of C-Span. C-Span is a cable TV network based in United States. He previously served as the bureau chief for Cablevision magazine, editor of The Media Report and staffer of White House telecommunications policy. Brain Lamb pursued his studies from Purdue University and has also served in the United States Navy. He has been honored with many awards such as National Humanities Medal, Presidential Medal of Freedom and Al Neuharth Award. Brain Lamb has authored many books which include America's Town Hall (1988), Writing, and the Power of Ideas (1998), Stories from American History (2002) and On American Character (2005).
