Amity Institute of English and Business Communication - AIEBC Noida was instituted with the guidance of the Founder President Dr. Ashok Chauhan under Amity University Uttar Pradesh in the year 2005. Ever since its inception, it has grown from strength to strength. The department offers BA. (Hons.) English; MA English, M. Phil. English and Ph. D. study programmes. In addition to the four full time courses, the Institute also offers part time courses. The Institute also offers tailor made training programmes for governmental and non-governmental organisations.
Under the present Director Dr. Madhulika Jha, Amity Institute of English and Business Communication - AIEBC Noida is contributing to the academic life of the university. At present AIEBC consists of 20 well-qualified and experienced faculty members who are actively engaged in teaching, training and research. Besides, AIEBC has an Academic Programme Officer and other support staffs to create the right learning environment. AIEBC is also engaged in teaching English/ Business communication courses to different programmes of Amity University as a value added course.
Prof. (Dr.) Madhulika Jha, an academician and academic administrator, is the Director of Amity Institute of English and Business Communication - AIEBC Noida, AMITY University. In her 29 years of academic experience she served as a Lecturer and later, Reader, in the Department of English, Bhagalpur University and later guided the inception of AMITY Institute of English and Business Communication as a constituent unit of AMITY University Uttar Pradesh. Amity Institute of English and Business Communication - AIEBC Noida has been since then on its path to achieve excellence and become a trend setter in higher education in her able leadership. She is a prolific contributor to the academia with her specialization in linguistics and language teaching and Doctorate in English literature from Bhagalpur University. She is experienced in teaching a variety of courses in diverse settings. She has expertise in curriculum development and design with strategic planning for academic development in higher education. She is also an active member of the English Language Teachers Association of India. She is a member of International Association of Teachers of English as a foreign language (IATEFL) (UK). She has several papers and books to her credit. Amity Institute of English and Business Communication - AIEBC Noida provides Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Doctoral Degree to the college students.
