Keeping this in mind, a patriotic urge has therefore given birth to Anand Engineering College-AEC which from its inception has dedicated itself to the cause of managerial and technical upliftment by training young and dynamic students from all over the country and to be multi-functional centre for Quality education, research, executive development programs, training and excellence in every related field. This College was started in the session 1998-1999 in four disciplines of engineering with an intake of total 180 seats. Currently we have added five more disciplines in B. Tech. programme, MBA & MCA programme also. Anand Engineering College-AEC is located at Agra-Delhi Highway (NH2), Keetham, Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
Anand Engineering College-AEC prides itself in providing the students with an excellent environment for pursuing their studies. It leaves no stone unturned in enhancing their technical skills & knowledge. To achieve this, the college has endowed itself with well-qualified and well experienced faculty with strength of 272. It has always tried to maintain 1: 15 ratio as per the AICTE norms offering courses in different fields of engineering & it also imparts practical training through its well equipped laboratories, workshops, computational facilities, mechanical labs etc. Central computer center and library remain open during the off hours also.
Anand Engineering College-AEC has, besides the beautiful lush green campus with all modern amenities & facilities for the students, which aids the learning process. The group recognizes the key role that IT plays in teaching as well as research. Therefore, it is committed to providing computing facilities of the highest standards. A high-speed optical fiber network allows all students to access a range of services across our campus including all computer labs. The computer labs house more than 1091 Computer Systems. The Anand Engineering College-AEC has wide range of Software of Microsoft, Oracle platforms. Our labs are equipped with entire suite of Microsoft Product (Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, Visual Studio, NET Server, MS SQL Server-2000) under MSDN Academic Alliance Program besides UNIX, LINUX, Data bases (MS-SQL Server-2000, Oracle 10g). The Labs are connected to the internet by a 10 mbps leased line.thereby providing unlimited internet access to students and faculty members. In the modern scenario wherein there is cut throat competition of being successful. The life of a normal man has no place for patience and time for refining the soul. When all the comforts and materialistic things fail to provide satisfaction and peace to life, sports and physical education comes into picture. Anand Engineering College is having about 9 buses for transportation of day scholar students as well as for faculties.
The Anand Engineering College-AEC library is fully equipped to cater 1700 students with total no. of 88,828 books and by the end of the semester the figure will touch 30,000. They subscribe to 100 National & International Journals & Magazines every year. Apart from the Main Library, departmental libraries are also maintained by the concerned Heads of the Departments. Each department is having books for ready reference to the faculty/research scholars. The library is being upgraded on the lines of accreditation and standard is being maintained accordingly.
The Anand Engineering College-AEC offers different kinds of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. Undergraduate courses such as Bachelor of Technology in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics and instrumentation, Computer science, Mechanical engineering, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Bio Technology, BBA, BCA. Postgraduate courses such as M.Tech (Production Engineering), MBA, MCA.
Anand Engineering College-AEC had been chosen as the Nodal Centre by the Indian Army under the 16th University Entry Scheme. The results of the interviews are yet to be declared by the Indian Army; subsequently the selected students of AEC will proceed for SSB. The Training and placement Cell is also working hard in order to establish linkage between the industry and the institute so that the students can be placed through campus interviews. For the same, the Indian Air Force and companies like TCS, Infosys, Satyam, L&T etc... have already been approached. We understand the competition faced by today's youth and for the same the Training and Placement Department organizes various activities for stress removal. Sangeet Sammelan by a charitable organization called Spic Macay was organized in which eminent personalities like Mishra Bandhu were invited to perform in the college. Anand Engineering College is also in the process of starting Yoga Classes for the physical and mental relaxation of the students.
