Jagannath Gupta Institute of Engineering and Technology-JNIT came into being in the year 2004 under the aegis of Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society with the intrinsic aim to harbor technical excellence in the state of Rajasthan.
Popularly known as Jagannath Gupta Institute of Engineering and Technology-JNIT, the Institute has emerged as a prestigious center for learning. Building on the phenomenal success of JIMS, the three well established institutes of management in Delhi, the Society is now dedicated to the pursuit of holistic education and academic excellence in the technical arena. Along with carving a niche for itself the Society has promoted the general advancement of knowledge by igniting the cerebral dimensions of the students and by nurturing their innate talents.

The fully furnished spacious hostel has a total capacity of nearly 300 students. The conducive ambience of the hostel not only leads to enhancement of intellectual growth but also accelerates personality grooming. Students learn to take responsibility and share commitment in a group.
Library is run according to an Open Access System. The Jagannath Gupta Institute of Engineering and Technology-JNIT library has a rich collection of about 16,000 volumes of books, periodicals, reports and reference material. A separate research center subscribes to major technical journals, magazines and newspapers. Xerox, lamination and spiral binding facilities are available for students in the library itself. The institute focuses on providing maximum exposure of knowledge to students through its special facilities like e-journals and online journals. The institute adds new books to the library every year. The integral part of the Jagannath Gupta Institute of Engineering and Technology-JNIT and library is the IEEE and IETE journals. With DELNET facility, students are given a full range of electronic as well as traditional library research facilities. The state-of the art library has procured LMS (Library Management System) for the benefit of the students. It is embellished with Wi-Fi zone. In addition to the books from central library, more books are issued to the students from Book Bank. A Cluster of computer workstations are dedicated with the internet access in the library. The library also has a wide collection of Video CDs related to myriad subjects to impart information in a visually pleasing and interesting manner.
