Kishan Education Society was registered in the year 2001 under the Society Registration Act 1861 (Registration No-838 dated 15th Jan 2001, valid up to 15th of Jan 2011). It was the vision of the founder of the Society Shri Harish Pal Singh (Ex. M.P.-Lok Sabha) to establish Professional & Technical Institutes in Meerut, in order to being education to the common man. The society started Kishan Institute of Information Technology-KIIT, Near Hapur Railway Crossing, Delhi Road, Meerut in the year 2001. The institute was inaugurated by Late Shri Vishnu Kant Shastri the then Governer of U.P. The Kishan Institute of Information Technology-KIIT is running courses like MBA (Approved by AICTE Affiliated to UPTU and Lucknow UPTU CODE-174), BCA, BBA, B.Sc -Biotechnology (Affiliated to C.C.S. University, Meerut and approved by UGC). To make this journey worthwhile we provide excellent infrastructural facilities which blend in the International Standards and at the same time create a homely environment for the students to recognize their potential and become top notch professionals. Facilitating the effective delivery of our curriculum in a conducive environment is what, we are constantly striving to achieve. We are not only driven by the extent of our needs but also by what the world can provide. Our infrastructure is dynamic in nature because of our constant attempt to maintain pace with the development available to us.
Kishan Institute of Information Technology-KIIT has spacious, well furnished and Air Conditioned lecture rooms with audio (Mic-stereophonic speakers), visual (LCD/OPH) aids for lectures and presentations. Specially equipped with ultra modern equipments, Lecture Rooms have replaced traditional classrooms, black boards and dusters with OHP projectors, multimedia devices and a wide range of other teaching support equipments. Reading is to the mind what food is to the body. Reading is a habit which forms the backbone of any individual preparing for any kind of courses, with this theory in mind Kishan Institute has provided for easily approachable Reading Rooms within the vicinity of the library, which help students to be familiar with reading and interpretation of data. The abode of the students in their free time, Common Room is a place to relax, re-energize for the next class, review the topics taken up in the previous class, share notes, make plans for organizing co-curricular activities, watch television and also enjoy with friends.
Books are the blessed chlorophyll of life. The Kishan Institute of Information Technology-KIIT has well-stocked, sound proof, Digital library (running on SOUL-Software for university libraries) with different storing and reading areas. The libraries subscribe to various Indian and Foreign Journals, Magazines, Surveys, National and Local dailies and have various Reference books, Dictionaries, Thesaurus, Encyclopedias etc. The libraries have e-access facility, which gives the student the liberty to read e-subscribed journal online. In all there are four libraries with spacious halls. The libraries in all have 35,000 publications and more than 100 journals. In today's world, computers have become the life line of the business and no Manager can be successful unless and until He/She is familiar with working on computers and is well versed with computer terminology. Our Computer labs are well equipped (A/C) WI-FI Multi OS (Windows, Linux, SCO-Unix) with Intel Dual Core Workstations, IBM Server and Broadband Connection.
