The primary purpose of the library is to support teaching, research, academic and management programs. The Library is well–stocked with a wide range of books, journals, news papers, statistics, periodicals, prescribed titles and the reference material. It is available to students from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm every day. The library catalogue containing details of all titles held is maintained for quick reference. A large number of journals are also available on regular subscription and more are on the way.

The Institute library has nearly 15,000 books and more than 3,000 titles in the field of Engineering and Humanities. The library can boost of world wide data search through Internet and e-mail, VCP, colour TV, Audio-Visual aids on different subjects and reprographic facility available to the students.
Dev Bhoomi Institute of Technology – DBIT Dehradun has huge tastefully designed fully equipped state-of-the-art multistoried computer Center buildings having labs, with underground network cabling and centralized controlling equipment for monitoring network workstations. The students avail computer facilities on one-to-one basis for long hours. All the labs are networked and 24-hours internet facility is available through Internet Leased Line of speed 2 Mbps (1:1). Entire Dev Bhoomi Campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The Computer centers are designed, laid out and equipped so scientifically that students can spend hours together at the terminal without fatigue.

Most of the daily need items and refreshments are available with – in campus.
