Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls - Bhiwani was established in 1974 and was brought under the aegis of the Apeejay Education Society in Dec. 1990. The name ‘Apeejay’ signifies and represents the ideal combination of modern and traditional values, spreading the light of knowledge and preparing the youth for the future, thus contributing towards the task of nation-building. Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls - Bhiwani is flourishing under the guidance of eminent educationist, industrialist and philanthropist Dr. Stya Paul. It is situated at Charkhi Dadri - a remote area of southern Haryana, about 100 km. from New Delhi and 28 km. from its district headquarters in Bhiwani.
Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls - Bhiwani is spread over 5.25 acres of land in lush green environment. Continual, persuasive and sustained efforts have yielded results and the student strength has risen from 200 to 1550 in the past decade. Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls - Bhiwani not only caters effectively to the needs of the modern times in the form of many professional courses but also offers some traditional courses that promote the inculcation of values among the youth. Being the only girls' college in the city and its surrounding area, it serves the educational need of girls living in the radius of about 15 kms. An athletic track, a multipurpose sports arena and facilities for other outdoor and indoor games are provided to the students. Regular contests / games / matches are arranged and the most capable and fittest of the players are selected to represent the institute in various competitions held outside the college.
Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls - Bhiwani provides NSS facility. Two units of ‘National Social Service’ are functioning in the college under the guidance of the NSS Programme officers, Dr. Anita Bhardwaj and Dr. Geetu Dhawan. Under their expertise, students take up small projects of civic importance inside the college and in the neighboring areas. The NSS volunteers also celebrated ‘Van Mahotsava’ on 26th Aug. 2008. 4 NSS volunteers participated in a five-day Youth Leadership Training camp at M.D. University, Rohtak from 16th Sep. to 20th Sep. 2008. The NSS Foundation Day was celebrated on 24th Sep. 2008. A seven-day camp at the village ‘Mirch’ was organized by both of the Units.
