Dr RANM Arts and Science College - Erode, formerly known as Erode Arts College for women, started in the year 1995 is well - known for the quality education it has been offering since its inception. A Focus on quality education and students welfare ensured a sure and steady growth. Today realizing the advantages of Co-Educational system, Erode Arts College for Women is changed into a Co-Educational institution widening and extending the opportunities, renamed as Dr.R.A.N.M Arts & Science College, in memory of the Founder President Chevalier. Besides the institution have well furnished laboratories for Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physics & Chemistry.

The juries and seminars are conducted in seminar hall with ultra modern LCD projector, computer, and audio and video facilities. The college building seminar hall has a capacity of 100, The IT building hall has a capacity of 250 and all the juries and seminars are conducted in the seminar hall. The hall is equipped with ultra modern LCD projector, computer workstation, audio-visual facilities and wireless Internet facilities.
Dr RANM Arts and Science College - Erode offers hostel facilities to the students in the hostel located in the campus that is meant for all students of CIFE. Psychology Lab has all the tests and the corresponding equipments for conducting psychology experiments based on B. Ed. syllabus. College also provides expert guidance and counseling services to needy students. CIFE has several classrooms which are well equipped with the latest teaching aids and equipments.
Dr RANM Arts and Science College - Erode has a spacious ground with Cricket Pitch, Basket Ball, Kho-Kho, Shuttle, Badminton and Volley Ball Courts, Carrom, Chess and Table Tennis. The college has two National Service Scheme units and it organizes, various awareness programmes on Rain Water Harveting, AIDS, Health and Hygiene, Literacy etc. These Units actively involved in organizing awareness programmes on AIDS, First Aid, Blood Donation and conducting Inter-collegiate Competitions. Dr RANM Arts and Science College - Erode provides Bachelor Degree and Master Degree program to the students.
Placement and Training Cell of Dr RANM Arts and Science College - Erode was set up during the academic year 2006-2007. This cell facilitates the students to train and motivate themselves for higher studies like IAS, MBA, MCA and Bank Exams. Various companies are invited for Campus interview for final year students.
