The college is self-financing Institute that is recognized by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi, and Govt. of Karnataka and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

The city of Bangalore pronounced the college as best college during the year 1998-99 and 2000-01. The college is also certified with ISO 9001:2000. The Library is centrally positioned in the campus, housed in independent building that has a plinth area of 1700 Sq Mts, having total seating capacity of 350 students at a time.

The Library is automatic and uses EASYLIB-Library management software. The library subscribes to more than 200 Technical Periodicals out of which about 95 are International; it has also a collection of more than 3000 Back Volumes of Periodicals.

Different computer labs are given to both the Computer Science and MCA departments which are centrally air conditioned and well equipped.
