KSR Polytechnic College - KSRPC Tiruchengodu was first begun with the name Aarthi Polytechnic College in the year of 1997 under the "Aarthi Educational and Charitable Trust" which has been founded by Thiru.R.SRINIVASAN BBM, MISTE. The College is located in the village of Kuchipalayam about 10kms from Erode and to the right side of the Erode - Tiruchengodu highway. The name of the College has been recently been changed to K.S.R polytechnic College.
Thiru.R.SRINIVASAN is the founder of KSR Polytechnic College - KSRPC Tiruchengodu. He is the second son of the well-known philanthropist and pioneer in the field of educational institutions in the region, the Founder Chairman of the K.S.R Educational Institutions, Kongu Nattu Saadhanaiyaalar, Lion Dr.K.S.RANGASAMY MJF.Thiru.R.Srinivasan like his illustrious father, is an able administrator and eminent philanthropist hailing from the temple city of Tiruchengodu. He is involved in the Textile industry and trade. Young and dynamic in his outlook, he manages the college in an exemplary manner.

KSR Polytechnic College - KSRPC Tiruchengodu has a spacious, well-furnished and well-stacked library with an impressive collection of around 21,500 volumes of the latest editions of books by Indian and foreign authors to quench the thirst for the latest information among the staffs and students. The library is kept open from 8.35am to 7.00pm on all working days. KSR Polytechnic College - KSRPC Tiruchengodu Library has a special CD-ROM section with an immense collection of 1350 compact discs on topics related to the courses offered and 475 discs that accompany magazines on engineering and technology. The library also has an AUDIO-VISUAL THEATRE where documentaries or audio cassettes, discs can be played to enhance the knowledge. The knowledge acquired has been found to be useful to the students in performing better in group discussions and interviews.
KSR Polytechnic College - KSRPC Tiruchengodu hostels provide a home atmosphere for the students. Hostel facilities are available separately for boys and girls. Students are given a free hand to work out their own menus. Our buses ply within 50Km radius covering Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Rasipuram, P.Velur and Sankari. A fully fledged automobile service station is available inside the campus. All the services and repairs of the vehicles are done here. A swimming pool with a depth of 9 feet and length of 80 feet is available. A kid’s pool is also available. Trainers assist the students in swimming.

KSRPC makes necessary arrangements for getting the Backward and Adi Dravidar Scholarships, National Merit and Teachers Welfare Scholarships. Our Chairman, Lion Dr. K. S.Rangasamy has established a Help Fund to provide scholarships to the economically weak and meritorious students. The scholarships to the tune of one lakh are distributed every year. The college helps the students in getting the educational loans from various banks.
