Kandhaswamy College of Education – Namakkal is promoted by Trust for Educational and Social Development of Women and Youth. Prof. Dr. A.K. Natesan is the Hon. Chairman, his wife Mrs.N.Parvathy, the Managing Trustee and the son, Dr.N.Mathan Karthick, the Vice-Chairman. The Trust is started in the year 2001 with an aim to provide education to all The Trust started its niche in the teaching field in the year 2006 with Kandhaswamy College of Education (B.Ed.) and two Teachers Training Institutions (D.T.Ed.) viz. Excel Teachers Training Institute and Excel Teachers Training Institute for women.
