The institution is recognized by N.C.T.E by Jaipur vide order no. F.NTC/NCTE/F-3/HP-57/2002/7526 dated 26/09/2002. The institution got N.O.C from the H.P Govt. on 9th OCT 2001 vide H.P State Govt. notification No. EDN-A-CHHA (7)-6/99-vol.II lease dated 9th Oct 2001.
Kullu College of Education-KCE has been ESTD. Under the aegis of HES to impart quality education and to perform various activities for the welfare of the nation. The institution is serving the student community in kullu district since last nine years with glorious achievements and making students meritorious.
HES were ESTD. In the year 2000 with multifaceted objectives in the field of education. The society was registered under the registration act XXI; vide regulation No. 349/2000 dated 19/12/2000.
Kullu College of Education-KCE is run by H.E.Society. The institution has contributed its management committee as per provision of ordinance 38.5.B (P)(i) 12 of the first ordinance of the H.P university. Management committee is duly approver by honorable vice chancellor Shimla vide letter No. 1-223/2002-Himachal Pradesh University (ACAD) Vol III-8134 dated 7th March 2009.
Kullu College of Education-KCE is situated at very calm and quiplace, away from the madding crowd of city in noise free and pollution free zone. There is about 1Okms distance from Bhunter bus stand and 6kms distance from Bajaura on Kullu- Mandi road. It surrounded by lush green fields & orchards and has quite congenial atmosphere for teaching & learning. The building is adequately spacious, sunny & equipped with all the modern facilities & amenities.

All class rooms of Kullu College of Education-KCE are quite spacious and airy, and meet the requirements of a modern learning-conducive environment. A Psychology Lab has been set with required apparatuses /tests related to the educational psychology covered by this lab.An education technology lab has been setup with Hardware and Software technology required for information. The Institute contributes to all leading newspapers, various Magazines and all important Journals relating to Education.The library is in the process of computerization.
The science lab of Kullu College of Education-KCE is equipped with various models different type of apparatus testing materials. Our physical chemistry Bio technology Laboratories has all the equipment in sufficient quantity so that each pupil teacher can perform his practical individually. SS lab consists Atlas of India and Maps of India and world.
Kullu College of Education-KCE has fully equipped labs with all all the modern gadgets and equipments with capacity of 30 students. The college library is adequately spacious, fully computerized and has more than 4000 books with various encyclopedias, journals (weekly and monthly), competitive magazines and all leading newspapers (English and Hindi). The seating capacity is of 60 students at a time. The college has excellent playground of area of 3100.
