The L R Institute of Education has been set up and the admissions are on for the academic session 2007-08. The Institute is equipped with all infrastructural facilities required for such a professional course. It has an impressive Library which subscribes to both national and International Journals.
The L R Group of Institutions established since 2004 under the LLR Educational Trust (regd.) is a sustained commitment towards providing quality education to children of states situated in Northern India. Every member of the LR Group has a pointed objective towards opening up this state and its children to the world education system, thereby preparing them to become global citizens. Set in the picturesque district of Himachal Pradesh, the sprawling 11 acre campus houses three professional programs, Law (both 3yrs LLB and 5yrs B A LLB integrated course), Masters in Business Administration, and B. Pharmacy. Apart from these, the Group also proposes to start three new courses in the field of education, Hospitality and Computer Applications in the years 2007.
With strength of over two hundred students, the L R Institute of Education already has taken the shape of a miniature university. Its potential can be gauged from its faculty and its strict adherence to maintaining a premium standard of education.

L R Institute of Education Technology residing on campus enables students to widen their horizon and acquire important inter-personal skills. The Hostel on campus is a miniature society. Here, one will meet people of very different backgrounds and personalities. Contact with hostel-mates is much more intensive than that of the earlier contacts with school classmates. With more interaction comes greater need to adjust and accept, especially with the roommates. One needs to discuss issues of common interest with the roommates to sort out existing problems particularly when opinions are divided. One learns to be tactful and patient and learn to look at things from another person's perspective.Participating in the management of the hostels also helps one to gain valuable organizational skills. There is really a lot to learn and hostel life forms an integral part of education at the institute campus.
L R Institute of Education campus is spread over an area of 53 bighas of land and is located on the Sultanpur road, off Solan - Rajgarh road. The sprawling campus is situated in the backdrop of Mountains and is serene. The campus besides housing the teaching blocks of five differend institues i.e. Management, Education, Information Technology, Legal Studies and Education also houses the administrative block, hostels and staff quarters.
L R Institute of Education had its first building in 2006 and today it has a main academic block, a distance education block, three Halls of Residence each for men and women, one post- graduate women's hostel, staff quarters and a well equipped training centre with residential facilities for participants participating in the training programs.
The mission of the L R Institute of Education Library is to support and promote academic excellence. Our goal is to provide the latest information necessary to support the study curriculum and the scholarly activities of the students and faculty of the college.

Another of our goals is to provide fast and efficient service. To broaden all patrons' knowledge of the library, the Library staff teaches methods and techniques of legal research.The L R Institute of Education library has a collection of more than 2000 volumes and is committed to acquiring materials for both the immediate and the long term needs of the college. Emphasis is placed on development of the collections of statutes, legal periodicals, federal and state legislative materials, reports of all federal courts and all state appellate courts, Federal administrative agency materials, specialized looseleaf services, and microforms and treatises which support our mission.
