The Venkateshwar Siksha Samiti is situated in the peaceful valley of solan near village dillo, P.O Sultanpur Distt. Solan of Himachal Pradesh. Tt covers a total area of 5050 sq.m. This accommodates a building having an area of 1600sq.m. The nearest Railway station is Kumar Hatti.
The Venkateshwar Siksha Samiti in its first year is equipped with all necessary facilites and muck more .it includes: Multipurpose hall and seminar halls, Separate halls for various seminars workshop and large gatherings are available for the students. The institution can claim to have one of the best infrastructures in the form of well equipped science lab, PIV dual core computer lab, ET Lab, Language Lab, Psychology Lab.
A well stock equipped library has been set by the Venkateshwar Siksha Samiti. Library contains 3,500 books pertaining to all relevant subjects required by the institution. Spacious enough to accommodate a seating capacity of more than 50 students at a time.
Other Facilities also provided by the Venkateshwar Siksha Samiti such as well ventilated class rooms, Fresh and clean water available around the clock, huge play ground with provision of various outdoor games. Computer Laboratory There is a well equipped computer laboratory in the college and computer education is compulsory for all the teacher trainees as per NCTE, Himachal Pradesh Government and Himachal Pradesh University norms.
To impart education through technological equipments, there is ET lab established in the Venkateshwar Siksha Samiti. It is equipped with an Over Head Projector, Slidecum Film Projector, V.C.R, Amplifier,Loud Speaker, Microphone and Audio Cassette Recorder etc.This lab is useful for developing teaching skills in the students.Science Laboratory This institution has multiple sets of science apparatus required to perform and demonstrate all the experiments prescribed in the secondary and senior classes.
Other Laboratories Separate laboratories have been set up by Venkateshwar Siksha Samiti for Psychology, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Work Experience, Language, Social Sciences and Mathematics Labs as per NCTE norms. There is a provision of more than 150 students to sit in the library of Venkateshwar siksha samiti. There are sufficient Bookshelves, Steel Almirahs, Wooden Almirahs and Chairs. Furniture wise it is well developed. College offers Bachelors of Education course.
The Library of the Venkateshwar Siksha Samiti has more than 5000 latest books and the Managing Committee of the college has decided to add about 300 books in the Library on the recommendations of the teachers and the students. The Library regularly receives various leading Journals of Education published and recommened by NCTE/UGC. The various Periodicals relating to Education and Competitive Exams and leading daily newspapers in Hindi and English are available. Encyclopedia of Education & General Knowledge besides several useful reference books is available in the Library.
