Shekhawati Girls College-SGC came into existence during the academic session 2007-08 with the approval of Government of Rajasthan and is affiliated to the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. It is established by Satwic Jeewanshala Trust Dundlod, Jhunjhunu.
Shekhawati Girls College-SGC was established with an aim to promote social development by providing higher quality education to the girls of rural and semi urban areas of Shekhawati region. Our country is fast progressing and the development of women through education is a matter of prime concern. Development of society and country cannot be accelerated unless girls are given right education in right direction. Girls education is like sowing the seeds which give rise to green, cheerful and full grown family plant. Educating a girls means making the next generation well educated, full of virtues, free from useless superstitions, Confident and capable to do something good for family, society and nation. The motto of Shekhawati Girls College is to impart best education to make the girls capable enough to face the world with courage and firm determination.
The campus of Shekhawati Girls College-SGC has a separate big campus. Class rooms are ventilated well aerated & highly equipped. All the labs are well equipped with modern hi-tech requirements. Institute has established a rich library with huge stocks of books, dictionaries, encyclopedia magazines & journals to cultivate the reading room within the library.
