South Point Women Institute of Engineering and Technology - SWIET Sonipat is situated at Purkhas Road, Near Sugar Mill, Sector-20, Sonipat,Haryana. College offers different kind of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Library is the life blood of an academic institution. South Point Women Institute of Engineering and Technology - SWIET Sonipat institution encourages all students and staff members to make best use of the library that has been carefully built up. The central library housed in a spacious area has a modern setup with reference section, magazine section and stack area. It has a separate digital library. Presently it stacks more than 2000 titles and 6000 volumes of different books on Engineering, Sciences, Management, Electrical, Electronics, Computers, Information Technology and General. It is also proposed to add more than 2500 book per year. Many national & international journals and periodicals are also sudscribed on regular basis.
Every year South Point Women Institute of Engineering and Technology - SWIET Sonipat will subscribe additional 10 to 15 national and international journals. Library will have a book bank facility. South point Women Institute of Engineering and Technology - SWIET Sonipat will be a member of DELMET, an organization of library network which has many engineering colleges as their members. Students can download books, journals, periodicals etc. from DELNET. Newspapers, weekly and fortnightly magazines of repute are subscribed to enable the students to keep abreast of day to day trends.
South Point Women Institute of Engineering and Technology - SWIET Sonipat has hostel which ensures privacy and homely environment. Hostel provides better opportunities for students to interact with each other. Hostel has separate common room. Proper medical facility is available for students. Hostel premise is beautifully designed with facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. To monitor the total hostel and mess activities some of the faculty members will be staying in hostel as Warden, to ensure proper care & guidance to students. Separate mess for students provides well balanced and appetizing vegetarian food prepared in total hygienic conditions. For the convenience of the students South Point Women Institute of Engineering and Technology - SWIET Sonipat provides bus facility from common assembling points covering North-West Delhi. The College encourages the student to make use of the transport so that they can reach the college in time safely and comfortably. Railway service is also available from New Delhi Railway Station to Sonepat Railway Station during Morning as well as in the Evening hours.
