Sun Polytechnic College – Kanyakumari was established in 2006 under the auspices of A.C.P Educational Trust. Currently the college offers three diploma Courses under application to the Directorate osf Technical Education (DOTE) Govt of Tamil Nadu and also approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Govt. of India. It is the latest addition to the sun, udaya and surya groups of Institutions.
Sun Polytechnic College – Kanyakumari is functioning in a sprawling campus of 50 acres located at Erachakulam, 5Kms away from Nagercoil.The atmosphere is conducive for calm and peaceful academic pursuit. the college is well connected to the town by public transport buses.Apart from this the college operate its own transport system for the convenience of the students. Our Library is completely computerized and measures are being taken to promote our Library to Digital Library.

The hostel is located in the sylvan mountainous surrounding region that gives nourishment to the college hostel.
