Udaya Institute of Technology – Kanyakumari can be traced back to 1997 when the R.V.Educational Trust was established under the Chairmanship of Er.Thayaparan M E, a popular philanthropist and educationist hailing from Theckurichy. The trust has started a group of professional colleges in two different locations (Sun Nagar & Udaya Nagar) Starting from Udaya Institute of Technology; the last one added is Udaya Institute of Technology – Kanyakumari, established in 2008.
Udaya Institute of Technology – Kanyakumari has a sprawling campus of 30 acres of serene and quite land which provides an ideal learning ambience located in udaya nagar, ammandivilai post. 5 Kms away from Nagercoil. Udaya Institute of Technology – Kanyakumari provide all facilities to the students and motivates the students to actively involved in co-curricular and extra -curricular activities. Central Library of Udaya Institute of Technology – Kanyakumari has a central library with spacious halls and exclusive reference section with quite number of volumes on all subjects whose total exceeds 27285 volumes. There are 79 National journals and 59 International Journals subscribed in our college Library. The library remains open from 9 AM to 8.PM. Our Library is completely computerized and measures are being taken to promote our Library to Digital Library.

Hostel facility of Udaya Institute of Technology – Kanyakumariis endorsed with a salubrious hostel both separately for men and women. The hostels are more spacious and have the capacity to accommodate 450 students in each hostel. The eye catching point in our hostel is that an environment is created that may menace the students a homely feeling with hygienic food and mother care. The hostel is located in the sylvan mountainous surrounding region that gives nourishment to the college hostel.

Our fleet contains 56 buses and a Luxury bus to enable the students to go for the Industrial visits and Educational tour.
