Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara had completed its glorious one year on 15th June 2010.Tekhnix Studios is Gujarat First production training center, where we are providing training for Animation, Visual Effects, Film Making and Gaming. Over the last six years Tekhnix team has worked on several Television series, Animated commercial, Pre-renderd Game Cinematics, animated films, theatrical feature film and CGI effects for live-action films. At Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara, we teach all the methods/techniques they have learnt so far. Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara had worked on Several Hollywood and Bollywood movies and TVC. Some of the titles which they recently worked includes movies like Wah life ho to aisi, Blood A butcher's tale, Zinda, the Hiding, Sick House, Red Mercury, Flight Club, The Rising, No Entry etc.
As every weekend Tekhnix organizes different competitions on various topics. This Saturday we had organized competition called “ Best out of waste”. In Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara, student have to collect all kind of waste material and by using it they will have to make some useful thing. They were allowed to participate in the competition individually or in group and they were given two hours time and by this time they will have to finish their work. Winner will be selected based on their creativity, concept, use of waste material, finishing of work etc. In this competition students get chance to learn how to use such material and to get their best use out of it.
Speed Painting in Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara is an exercise, primarily digital, in which one paints on a time budget, using already developed methods to create a piece. Contrary to (somewhat) popular belief, "Speed Painting" is not the same as a time-lapse video of a painting. Speed Painting is a widely used term in the Entertainment industry, often amongst Concept Artists.
Its popularity on the internet was drastically increased with YouTube videos featuring fan-paintings by digital artists like Nico Di Mattia. Technically these videos were not speedpainting, though they helped publicize the practice. An example of a traditional speedpainter would be the late Denny Dent, who made a name for himself painting 4' x 6' portraits of famous rock stars from start to finish during the course of a single song. Sadly, before Denny died, he had trained only one Student, Brian Olsen of Art in Action. Brian has continued to carry on Denny's belief that the painting was secondary. The message was most important. "It's not what you do, but the way you do it that's important. Whatever you do... do it with all your heart. Be what you are... be creative!" A follower in Dent's footsteps would be Dan Dunn who also creates large scale paintings set to music in relatively short periods of time(typically 3-7 minutes).
Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara teaching faculty are from the studios only, who had worked on many Hollywood and Bollywood projects. Even our director is working in this filed form last six years and till the date he has worked in more then 40 Indian and Hollywood movies. Raw speed painting is akin to the "Alla Prima" method of traditional fine artists, in which there is no sketch or underpainting (which are found in Di Mattia's paintings). It is about using value, color, texture, and composition to create a compelling and narrative piece within a relatively narrow timeframe. The pieces usually have an "unpolished" appearance, which stresses the importance of every stroke made on the canvas, digital or otherwise.Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara had organized competition on 12th February, 2010, based on “ Amateur Photography”,it was an open competition for the students of Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara and many of them showed interest in this. To capture good photographs they had worked hard, moved to various places and finally obtained the best one's of their knowledge.
Tekhnix Studios - Vadodara had organized a "Trip to Rasalpur" on 26th January 2010. It was an Educational + Fun Loving trip for everyone. We had planned an Treasure Hunt game for the students. They were divided into two groups (Group-A & Group-B). So it became more interesting for them as well as for us. The main punch of the game was that the treasure was hidden at the starting point of their route but none of them were able to search that. Each and every student had given their best but their efforts were in vain. The whole day was very exciting everyone enjoyed in their own different ways.
