VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology – VYCET Chirala is located on vodarevu road adjacent to bypass road in the midst of residential colonies and away from pollution at distance of 2.5 Kms. ten minutes drive from both Bus and Railway stations.

The VYCET’s aspiration to groom tomorrow’s engineers is grounded in the belief that technical skills can be learned and the successful technocrats must take charge of their own development and to grow as to achieve their true potential.

VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology – VYCET Chirala is located in Bypass Road, Chirala, Andhra Pradesh. This college has been situated in a panoramic area of 110 acres of sandy serene and salubrious atmosphere in a sprawling scenic campus, away from madding crowds but not far away from the blue waters of Bay of Bengal. This institution has assumed a place of pride and become a pioneer in imparting Higher Education.
VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology – VYCET Chirala offers different kind of bachelor and master courses leading to different streams. The college is offering 4 year courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and PG level 3 years Master Degree in Computer Applications.
Library of VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology – VYCET Chirala remains open from 8:30 a.m. on all working days for the purpose of reference, issue and return transactions. At present, the Library has over 9365 volumes, 1555Titles, it also subscribes to 75 Journals and 127 Magazines of India and overseas. The college has a policy of buying multiple copies of many of the books. Every effort is made to obtain all the titles recommended by the faculty. There are no budget approvals when it comes to buying books. The students need not be handicapped for want of reference material at any time. The Library has membership like IEEE, ACM, Institute of Engineers, DELNET and IETE.
Hostel facility of VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology – VYCET Chirala established in 1974 is located in three stair building within the campus. The Hostel can accommodate around 250 students. A member of the college faculty is the warden of the Hostel. The rooms are airy, well-lit and designed for optimum space utilization. In addition to study tables and chairs, comfortable cots are provided. The Hostel bathrooms and lavatories are spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Sports and Games facility of VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology – VYCET Chirala are played daily after college hours (i.e., after 4.00 PM). Necessary equipments are provided for daily activates. For girls play fields are provided for daily practice near the Hostel after 4.00 PM. Management of the college are approached for further development of games & Sports activities like indoor stadium, caroms, basket ball court, Tennis court, Gym, expansion of the play fields and permanent building for games department near play field.
Training and Placement Cell of VRS and YRN College of Engineering and Technology – VYCET Chirala is the spring board for career development of students, their ultimate objective of pursuing technical education. Keeping in view this responsibility and importance, the College has a well organized cell with vastly experienced and suitably competent personnel, and high grade infrastructure. The pre-placement training has become mandatory for students, so they can face highly competitive selection process with confidence.
