David Allen is an American Author and a Businessman. He was born on December 28, 1945 and spent the early years of his life in Shreveport, Louisiana. David Allen has held numerous jobs throughout his career and has worked as a waiter, karate teacher, landscaper, vitamin distributor, glass-blowing lathe operator, travel agent etc. David Allen was awarded a contract to design a program for executives and managers at Lockheed Corporation in the 1980's and hence his business career got underway. He is also the founder of David Allen Company and Actioneer, Inc., and has authored many books viz. Ready for Anything (2003), Making It All Work (2008) etc.
