Martti Ahtisaari is a politician of Finland and a well known international peace worker. He was born on 23 June 1937 in Viipuri, Finland. He received his education from University of Oulu. Martti was also a Captain in Finnish Army. He was awarded with the Noble Peace Prize for settling a number of disputes in Namibia; Aceh, Indonesia; Kosovo and Iraq. Martti also served as the 10th President of Finland from 1 March 1994 – 1 March 2000. He is the member of Social Democratic Party, a political party in Finland.
