Shahid Amjad Chaudhry is the founder of the Lahore School of Economics. He was also the Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of Pakistan and held office from July 2000 to July 2003. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry is an Arts graduate from the Punjab University along with possessing a M.A. (Cantab.) and a Ph.D. from McGill University. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry also has various publications to his name viz.
