Anbu College of Nursing – Namakkal was established in the year 2007 by Shri K.P. Anbazhagan, a noble hearted philanthropist and one of the leading industrialists in Komarapalayam Town, Namakkal District with the prime notion of preparing competent graduate nurses with sound scientific knowledge and dexterity in skills. The college offers B.Sc.(Nursing), Post Basic B.Sc.( Nursing) courses.

Nagar, Komarapalayam, which is on the Salem – Coimbatore National Highway, and 10 Kms. from Erode railway junction.
Anbu College of Nursing – Namakkal at present is nurtured with adequate class rooms, fully equipped laboratories to learn and practice as per Indian Nursing Council norms. We have well ventilated, spacious class rooms for all the courses. Teaching aids like OHP, LCD Projector are provided in each class room. Keeping in mind the importance of practical experience in the clinical field, nursing procedures are demonstrated in the well equipped laboratories by the experienced faculty and the students are allowed to practice and to show the return demonstrations. We have the following laboratories built and equipped according to the Indian Nursing Council norms.

Mobility of the students to the clinical areas and field trips are provided with adequate transportation facilities provided for the students. Clinical learning areas are carefully selected to integrate the theory with the clinical practice. To provide the best available clinical experience, Anbu College of Nursing – Namakkal is affiliated with the 172 bedded Government Hospital, Tiruchengodu, 54 bedded Government Hospital, Komarapalayam & 94 bedded Government Hospital, Rasipuram. To provide speciality clinical postings the college is affiliated to a 300 bedded multispeciality hospital – Maaruthi Medical Centre & Hospitals, Erode.
Anbu College of Nursing – Namakkal health centre was established in Kuppandapalayam to render health care to a population of 3500 at their door step with a vision to build a hospital near Kallankattuvalasu. Nursing clinics are conducted daily in emergency and referral patients seen by the medical officer on call. MCH, family planning, adolescent health care and geriatric are cared with help of students posted for learning experience.
At Anbu College of Nursing – Namakkal Separate hostel and mess arranged for boys and girls. Both hostels have adequate living rooms, toilets, bathrooms and washing area. Both hostels have warden, housekeepers, ayahs and security guards. Students are provided with Recreation and Sports facilities in the hostel. Hostel mess is run by the management and mess fee will be charged by the dividing system.
