The Trust comprising of dedicated philanthropists started “Jayam College of Engineering and Technology in the year 1998 and the institution is approved by AICTE.

Jayam College of Engineering and Technology – JCET Dharmapuri is located at Nallanur, situated on the Dharmapuri Hogenakkal Highway, 18 kms from Dharmapuri. The College campus with 75 acres of lush green land together with the backdrop of Hogenakkal falls provides a perfect setting for a peaceful academic pursuit. The College is well connected by Road, Rail and Air to Chennai, Bangalore and Salem. It is 135 Kms from the Bangalore Airport and 50 kms from the Salem Airport.
Library facility of Jayam College of Engineering and Technology – JCET Dharmapuri has a well-equipped modern WI-Fl library housed in a total area of 7333 sq.ft. The books are classified and arranged according to the Universal Classification Scheme and Open Access System is followed. The Library has computerized catalogue to find out the availability of books. The library is kept open on all the days from 08:30 AM to 07:30 PM. The Library has extensive collection of books and is augmented on a continuous basis. National, International Journals, Magazines, e-journals, E-books, Project Reports, Educational Audio and Video Cassettes and CDs are available.
Auditorium facility of Jayam College of Engineering and Technology – JCET Dharmapuri with state-of-the-art multimedia system. It is frequently used for presentations, seminars, fests, events of the college. The College Auditorium has a fixed stage and can accommodate thousands of audience comfortably with air conditioner. Jayam College Auditorium is a multi-use concert hall with wonderful acoustics and a warm and welcoming ambience. It is a perfect venue for musical, dance, theatre and film performances, as well as lectures, conferences and graduations.
Hostel facility of Jayam College of Engineering and Technology – JCET Dharmapuri separate Hostel facilities are provided for Boys and Girls with all facilities and with a choice of between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Computer terminals are available in each hostel for the students. Each room is provided with a telephone. Jayam College of Engineering and Technology – JCET Dharmapuri provides a guest house for external and internal guests inside the premises. One of our trustees Smt. Jayam looks after the hostels and children as a mother would do to her children. Boarding will be normally charged on yearly basis. Each hostel is provided with a resident Assistant Deputy Warden who will supervise the students and also act as an academic tutor. There is a Deputy Warden who will have overall supervision to students of all the Hostels.

The College has 15 buses for commuting. The buses ferry students.
Training and Placement Cell of Jayam College of Engineering and Technology – JCET Dharmapuri transforming the students from Educational to Professional is the primary goal of our Training and Placement cell. A separate placement and training cell is actively functioning in the college. The Placement cell ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangement and hospitality for the visiting corporate officials. It plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding the students at every stage of their academic programmes and helps to fit into a suitable employment. The Office also co-ordinates various activities related to the career of the students along with the industrial training. The placement and training cell organizes on-campus as well as off-campus interviews for final & pre -final year students of UG and PG Programmes.
