Two units of NSS, affiliated to University of Madras functions at Nazareth College of Arts and Science – NCAS Chennai . Dr. Murugesan Lecturer Department of Tamil, Mrs. Girija Ruby, Lecturer (Hindi) are the coordinators for the smooth operation of the NSS Unit. NSS camps are held every year at the neighborhood of the college where activities like awareness on terrorism, road safety, fire safety, literacy program, cleanliness, cancer, etc, medical camps are carried out.
Nazareth College of Arts and Science – NCAS Chennai Industry Interaction Cell was set up in the year 2006. This aim of this cell is to bridge the gap between the college and industry. Various people from industry are invited to the college and the students are briefed with the present trend in the industry. There will be a question and answer forum where the students are encouraged to ask more question to understand the industry. This helps the students to be well prepared to face the challenges in any economical climate that industry go through. This is one of the innovative ideas of the college, well implemented and carried out.
