Chief Minister of Maharashtra State & Ex. Governor of Rajasthan state). The College is located at Budhgaon about 10 km. from Sangli city.

He is the founder of Shetkari Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. Sangli, Shetkari Sahakari Bank, Vasantdada Market, Sangli Industrial Estate, Processing industries, Shetkari Shikshan Mandal, Pad. Vasantraodada Patil Institute of Technology, Vasantdada Pratishtan and many other societies. Other parts of Maharashtra also flourished under his great noble and dynamic leadership. As The CHIEF MINISTER OF MAHARASHTRA, he was very successful.
