SBRR Mahajana Education Society started SBRR Mahajana First Grade College - Mysore in 1982, and named it after the spouse of the then President Sri Rattehalli Ramappa who had played a lead role in bringing this institution into picture. Though it was started as a women's college during 1988-89, the college transformed into a co-educational institution to cater to a wider populace. SBRR Mahajana First Grade College - Mysore provides Diploma, bachelor Degree and Master Degree program to the students.
