It is just over a few years now, when some eminent personalities had gathered together for a discussion with a purpose which soon caught up the idea to use their resources to form an organization which cater to the growing needs of the public in the Educational field. Feverish consultations took place on the following few days. Other meaningful friends were roped in to accepting the idea and Trust was established. Shanti Devi Educational Trust of India is a non-profitable trust. The philanthropist objective of the trust is serve the society by imparting quality education through modern techniques of Scientific and technological era.

The Shanti Devi College of Education has spacious architecturally designed lecture and tutorial rooms, airy and electric gadgets, glossy chalkboards and flannel boards all intact, furnished with adequate modern furniture. The college has a very spacious library clubbed with reading room, newspaper section, reference section and magazine section. Well equipped with all requisite practical apparatus, tools, chemicals etc. Comprised with T.V., OHP, Standard transparencies, Radio, Projector etc. Consists of various tools, techniques, verbal & non-verbal tests, inventories etc. Students can prepare teaching aids, models, charts etc. under the guidance of our skilled instructor Mrs. Richa. Under her guidance our students were appraised best in various competitions held at inter college level. Consisted of 20 computers with up to date modern configuration and internet facility. Students can enjoy indoor as well as outdoor games at a scheduled time throughout the year regularly. Yoga classes are also conducted by Mr. Pawan Kaushish who is mastered in this field. The college can proudly declare that it has well designed digital language lab with 20 individual audio lingual sets monitored by centralized apparatus.
The Placement cell, at Shanti Devi College of Education the marketing division of the college has these following functions and responsibilities: Nurtures Industry College interaction, by organizing and coordinating frequent industrial visits, implant training and projects of industrial relevance for the students, with the sole aim of zeroing down the hiatus between the industry and the academia. Receives and forwards the feedback pertinent to curriculum improvement from the visiting companies to the faculty, to ensure that the curriculum follows the latest industrial trends. Helps every student define his/her career interest through individual expert counseling. Makes available updated database and job profile of the companies and thus helps each student analyze and choose company of his interest. Organizes and coordinates Campus Placement Program, to fulfill its commitment of a job to every aspirant. Works towards continuing education for the college employees.
