Dr. Panduranga Nayak and Mr. Ramananda Bht are the NSS Programme officers of the two units of the college. A NCC army wing attached to 10 Karnataka Battallion, Mangalore has been funtioning with 50 cadets to inculcate discipline, punctuality, nationalism, spirit of advanture and leadership quality among atudents.
Sri Venkataramana Swamy College - Dakshina Kannada has a well established HRD Cell with trained Faculty which trains students to develop necessory skills and competencies that enhance their performance not only in preparing them for employment but also in examinations. The cell offers counselling services to students with personal problems and helps to overcome them through trained faculty.
