DKES School of Computer Science – DKES SCS New Delhi has sophisticated servers – both Windows Server and Linux Server. All the computers are connected with 1 Mbps network with the central server. There are two MCA computer labs and a Digital lab which are fully equipped. This provides the required exposure to the future technocrats and enables them to explore a new and dominant vista in the software industry today. 24X7 internet access is provided to the students as well as the faculty. Learning at DKES School of Computer Science – DKES SCS New Delhi involves frequent workshops, presentations, seminars, and co-curricular activities. The institute has a seminar hall with the state-of-art facilities. The seminar hall is well equipped with LCD projector, laptop and an audio system.
DKES School of Computer Science – DKES SCS New Delhi has 3 classrooms and a tutorial room. The rooms are well ventilated, with proper light and acoustics. These are aesthetically designed to ensure a proper learning environment. The rooms are fitted with an LCD projector and a networked computer, a provision for teaching aid. Three OHPs are also provided as additional teaching aid. It’s a place where students can relax and chit-chat, amidst enjoying their snacks. DKES School of Computer Science – DKES SCS New Delhi have a recreational cum common room for the students. The sports room is equipped with necessary kits for various indoor and outdoor games viz. Table Tennis (02 tables), Cricket Kit,Basket Ball , Volley Ball , Carom, Chess, Football, etc. College offers Master of Computer Application course to students.
SCS has always believed in integrating theoretical & practical knowledge and fostering hands on experience in the field of Computer Science; and Industrial interaction through Industrial visits prove highly beneficial in accomplishment of the same. Such activities enhance the problem solving capabilities and provide the participating DKES School of Computer Science – DKES SCS New Delhi students a better insight of the practical approach followed in the industry. The industrial visit to the following companies was organized in November 2009 i.e. Infosys – Global Education Centre Mysore and ITI Limited Bangalore. Students found the Industrial experience overwhelming and educationally enriching. Such practical activities prove highly beneficial as they assist in professional and personal grooming of our future technocrats.
