This Herculean task was finally welcomed by the Managing Committee and Trustees of Basant College, who in their written indenture on 10-07-1956 declared to donate a well built central building and campus of around 3.5 Acre area for establishment of K.B. The central library of college was established in the year 1969 which was inaugurated by the reverend vice chancellor Prof. P. T. Chandi of Gorakhapur University, Gorakhapur. Close to the double storied library building, there is a big hall (reading room) where more than 200 students can sit at a time and take full benefit of the various journals, magazines, news papers, and periodicals, issued by the library. Research scholars while pursuing their specific branch of study also take benefit of the departmental library under supervision of their guide.
