The Maharana Pratap Group of Insitutions has spread its wings to other major cities of Uttar Pradesh also after working satisfactorily in the field of education. The Group has established Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow at Mohanlal Ganj, Lucknow with the same goal of achieving success in academic stream. Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow was established in the year 2008 on about 15 acres of land, with the aim of its expansion in the coming years. Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. MITS has got a city office in Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow for correspondence and admission of students. Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow has pride of having experienced faculty from various fields of Engineering and Basic Sciences.
Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow is established in 15 acres of land which will be expended to 40 acres by next year. It is located at Lucknow Rai-bareilly Highway, which is 20 km from Charbag Railways Station,Lucknow and 8 km from SGPGI , Lucknow. The total proposed built up area is 4 lacs sq.ft. which will cover entire administrative wings, academic wings, placement department, hospital , sport arena, auditorium , student activity center. Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow is having numbers of lecture and tutorial halls, which are used for the training purposes. Largest lecture hall can accommodate 100 participants, second largest lecture hall can accommodate 50 participants, other lecture halls can accommodate about 40 participants each.
Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow also provides well-furnished hostel facilities for boys and girls separately. These are conveniently located in the close vicinity of the institute campus. The hostels are provided with all the basic necessities for the students. The Library is considered as the heart of any academic institution. It is viewed as an enriched source of knowledge collected at one place. It is a doorstep to the growing world of information. Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow , when started in 2008 took immense care to develop this wealth of knowledge so that students as well as faculty can benefit from it. Today, it has a wide range of books both for general interest as well as for scientific and technical purposes. The reference section of the library houses latest editions of prescribed as well as other high value books to satisfy the urge for knowledge of our students. An excellent selection of journals and periodicals is valued by the students and adds to the ocean of knowledge already existing in this library.
Maharana Institute of Technology and science – MITS Lucknow main lecture halls are fully equipped with teaching aids like PA set, cordless microphone, conferencing system, overhead projector, slide Projector , LCD projector with personal computer, VCR etc. so that effective training using audio visual media can be imparted to the trainees. A big playground exists for track events, cricket and football games. A Basketball, Volleyball courts are just adjoining the college building. Facility for all kinds of indoor games like, table tennis, chess and others is provided for. One Physical directors is appointed to take care of all sports and games activities.

Buses are available for the convenience of the student and staff member , covering nearly all the routes of the city.
