PMR Institute of Technology – PMRIT Chennai is located in Near Ambattur, Muggapair West, Adayalampattu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This sprawling campus is flanked by two trunk roads – Poonamallee High road and Tambaram – Ambattur bypass. The college is spread across 30 acres of land in a serene atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery. PMRIT is the second closest college to city - 1km from Ambattur and 4km from Annanagar.
Library facility of PMR Institute of Technology – PMRIT Chennai has separate periodicals section and subscribes 78 journals of which 44 National and 34 International Journals. The library receives regularly journals, newsletters from organizations and societies of repute across India and provides the staff and students latest information in technical education, research and development activities. Reference library consists of 4000 titles in which invariably one copy of a text book is kept up. The reference section of the library has rich collection of international editions of reference books, handbooks, conference proceedings, encyclopedias and various reference documents. Back volumes of journals have been neatly bounded and arranged under subject wise for reference.
Hostel facility of PMR Institute of Technology – PMRIT Chennai is provide good and safe facilities of lodging and boarding to cater to the needs of outstation students. The Principal is the Ex-Officio Warden of all hostels and he is assisted by Deputy Wardens and Assistant wardens in the day to day running of the hostels.
Mess facility of PMR Institute of Technology – PMRIT Chennai is run by the Management under the guidance of the Principal and Administrative officer. Both Vegetarian and Non vegetarian food is served in the hostel. Non vegetarian food is served three days in a week. The student committee decides the menu. Mess charges are collected on dividing basis. Parents and guests are allowed to take food on payments. Canteen facility of PMR Institute of Technology – PMRIT Chennai is functioning within the premises of the college to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. A subsidized mess is also operative in the campus. A separate mess for boys has been provided.
