Sagar Institutes of Science and Technology - SISTec Bhopal was established in 2007 at Gandhinagar Bhopal. Further with the experience of managing a prestigious engineering college SISTec, the group has taken one step ahead in the direction of its mission and has established another two technical institute “Sagar Institute of Science Technology & Engineering”(SISTec-E) and “Sagar Institute of Science Technology & Research”(SISTec-R) at Sikandrabad, Ratibad- Bhopal in 2009.
The objective remains to train student to become world class technocrats for their all-round development. The group possesses a dedicated team of faculty coming from the best institutes of the country who not only impart knowledge to the students but also act as their method. The infrastructure and facilities have been carefully developed so as to transmit professionalism considering the quality of the manpower generated by Sagar Institutes of Science and Technology - SISTec Bhopal, while recognizing its academic achievements, All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and University grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi granted the status of an A+ Institution in 2008. All the major UG and PG programmes have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation of AICTE. Efforts are being made for acquiring the status of “A+” for the Institute.
Sagar Institutes of Science and Technology - SISTec Bhopal has well-qualified and experienced faculty of sanctioned strength of more than 50% of strength of more than the fan hold doctoral and master degrees. Almost quite a few of them have received prestigious awards. The faculty and the students of the institute publish research papers every year. The laboratories in all the various departments have been modernized. The Institute is involved in Continuing Education Programme and also provides Testing and Consultancy services. Sagar Institutes of Science and Technology - SISTec Bhopal Library plays a vital role in the dissemination of scientific and technical information to meet the present and future needs of SISTec. This is a Digital Library, wherein all functions such as issue, procurement, information retrieval, etc. are digitized. SISTec has a specialized library consisting of 12957 books of BE and 1298 books of MBA. The Library has over 2200 titles. There are 250 CDs. The library is fully computerized using SOUL integrated library management software. The collection of the library is available online through the web OPAC facility of the SOUL.
Sagar Institutes of Science and Technology - SISTec Bhopal has a fleet of buses making daily trips to all major places in and around Bhopal. The students are advised to be at the bus stop 10 minutes before the starting time of the bus. They are also required to maintain discipline and decorum inside the bus. Any change in the bus timings or routes is intimated through the circulars and notice boards. Well equipped separate hostels for Boys and Girls within campus. The accommodation is available for 150 Boys and 100 Girls. The mess and canteen facility is available for students and staff.

It is not only necessary for all round development of a person but also provides a means of recreation and relaxation for body and mind. Various competitions provide opportunities for social interaction between culturally and ethnically different groups of people thereby fostering qualities of sportsmanship in them. The need for a sports arena was felt a few years back and the Institute took an initiative to come up with a plan for an indoor sports complex to cater to the needs of the students.
The training and placement cell handles all aspects of training and campus placements for the students of Sagar Institutes of Science and Technology - SISTec Bhopal. The training and placement cell is equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process. Arrangement for Pre Placement talks, written tests, interviews, group discussions etc are all handled by the staff at the office. The placement policies and other related activities are handled by the placement advisory committee under the guidance of professor in-charge, Training & Placement.
