TACT MCA College - Bhubaneswar was started w.e.f. 1998-99 and continued under affiliation of Utkal University up to the session 2002-03. Subsequently, like all other technical courses, the MCA course of TACT has also been under (BPUT). Students are admitted in TACT MCA course as per the policy of the Govt of Orissa through Orissa MCA-JEE as per Govt. Rules.
TACT MCA College - Bhubaneswar is being conducted in its new four-storied building w.e.f the academic session 2006-07 at the new “Technoplex” at F2B, Chandaka Industrial Estate, and Bhubaneswar. The shifting of the institution from S-2/142, Mancheswar Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar became necessary since all institutions of the Trident Group have now been centrally located in a state-of-the-art Technoplex on a patch of 11 acres land with multistoried individual building with an envisaged project outlay of Rs.20 crores in first 5 years. For the time being, separate canteen and cafeteria facilities are available for TAT and TACT. Whereas the TAT canteen serves South Indian Snacks and breakfast a long with Oriya style lunch, the cafeteria provides dry snacks.
