Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College – Vadodara established in 1992, is a pioneering institute for training in the field of Homoeopathy in the 'Sanskar Nagri', Baroda (Gujarat). The Paradise Foundation Trust' under the able leadership of Shri Manibhai A Shah (Vasanwala) & others started this College with Diploma course (D.H.M.S.) in Homoeopathy. The first batch had 50 Students. Since the day of inception the College & Management has not left any stone unturned in the History of education in Homoeopathy. The staff spared no efforts to provide quality education with excellence. The students too echoed with enthusiasm and topped in the Council's Merit list every year.
Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College – Vadodara is situated at Nr. Sonarkui, Opp. Xavier Technical Institute, Sindhrot Road, Sevasi, Vadodara. Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College – Vadodara received permission to start the Bachelor's course in Homoeopathy (B.H.M.S.) in the year 1996-97 with the first intake of 50 students. Having received the affiliation & recognition from both the State & the Centre, the students and the staff kept the victory march moving. Every year the University Merit list featured many BHMC Students. The College received an up graduation in intake capacity in the year 2003. Since then The total intake capacity of the college is 100 students.
With an intake of 100 students per year Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College – Vadodara required Hostel premises for Girls. The Girls Hostel was inaugurated in the year 2002 which housed 117 girls. The girls Hostel had all essential Security provisions, a tradition which is strictly followed even at the new campus buildings. The much awaited shift from the old premises to new building came in the year 2006 and since then the college is fully functioning in the new & modern campus.
Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College – Vadodara is managed by the 'Paradise Foundation Trust' and is recognized by both the Govt. of India and Govt. of Gujarat. The institute is recognized by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (The apex body for education & training in Homoeopathy) and Dept. of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH) of the ISM & H Department of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The college is affiliated to the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, Gujarat for its undergraduate course. The college has an intake capacity of 100 students per year.
Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College – Vadodara offers Bachelor‘s course in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.). This course is a full time course of Five and a half year duration which includes a compulsory internship of one year duration. The medium of instruction is English. The library plays a central role in helping college achieve its mission of providing students a quality education. Beyond its immediate responsibility to provide the information services and resources that support the courses of study offered at the college, the library has the broader mission of fostering in our students the importance and necessity of lifelong learning.
