S.S.Jain Subodh P.G.College aims at imparting quality education in the college to the students with knowledge skills and attitudes, through its dynamic administrative system, well developed spacious building and assistance of various academicians. S S Jain Subodh P G College – Jaipur had selected 47 colleges in India on the basis of their efficiency and excellence. Among all the state level colleges of Rajasthan, Subodh College was the only college, which was identified, as a College with Potential for Excellence and released a special grant of Rs.1 crore 26 lakhs. This is a milestone among other colleges of Rajasthan. On account of the ideal environment of the campus, the state government designated this college as Model College of Rajasthan since 2007.

Upto the session 1992-93, S S Jain Subodh P G College – Jaipur was a degree college but since 1993-94 session, post-graduate classes have been started. The postgraduate education facility is available in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Applications, Information Technology, EAFM (Commerce), Political Science, Environmental Science and Geography subjects and we are also planning to introduce P.G. Courses in Accountancy & Business Statistics (ABST) from the next session. S S Jain Subodh P G College – Jaipur believes in the importance of practical education. Therefore, soon after 2002, various vocational courses like Computer Application, Tourism and Travel Management, Advertising Sales Promotion and Sales Management' were introduced in addition to usual graduation courses. The college has MCA, BCA, M.Sc.IT and PGDCA Computer courses. We have also started BBA course from session 2008-09. Last year, a job-oriented course of E-banking has also been started in collaboration with ICICI Bank.

The campus of S S Jain Subodh P G College – Jaipur is spacious and big enough to accommodate various academic and co-curricular activities. It has a stadium with all modern facilities. (the only private college of Rajasthan having its own stadium with pavilion facility of 2000 spectators).
S S Jain Subodh P G College – Jaipur library has INFLIBNET services and thus is an e-library offering more than 51,000 books and 2100 journals available online for students help and research purposes. We have a separate section of e-library attached with reference section of the library which has computers with internet facility on LAN for the use of students and staff. The book collection of the library counts the number 65,500, which includes all the category of books like text, general, reference and competition. It subscribes 25 newspapers of both Hindi and English language, 107 Journals and 53 magazines. Library has a separate well-furnished reading room with sitting capacity of 100 readers. The well-equipped reference section of the library has a rich collection of encyclopedia, dictionary, subject dictionary, vishwakosh and a large number of reference books related to different subjects. Apart from the printed material the collection of the library also includes more than 1000 CD ROM Database.
