JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida, announced its arrival and journeyed from there, attempting to realise every little dream that was woven into its destiny. Marking this,was the epoch-making occasion in 2003 when the then President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam inaugurated the campus and dedicated it to the Nation. JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida was established to meet the ever growing demand for trained professional manpower for industries and to serve as training ground for students from this region in the Engineering profession. The JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida is situated on a sprawling campus of 28 acres in the Institutional area of NOIDA and aims to be a value-based Centre of Excellence in Technical Education. Backed by the rich experience of managing Engineering Education, JSSATE, NOIDA ranked as one of the best Technical Institutions in the state of Uttar Pradesh, is approved by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) at Lucknow. Our students have been invariably placed in the Roll of Honour of top ten rankers in UPTU.
The JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida library is located at the ground floor of Academic Block III and is fully air conditioned. It is spread over 1260 m² with a capacity of 300 students. It has over 78,000 books on various disciplines, 800 CD-ROMs and 200 project reports. It subscribes to 50+ magazines and 70 Indian and foreign journals. IEEE transactions and conference proceedings are made available to encourage students to pursue research activities. It has over 1000 books for various post-graduate competitive examinations. Book transactions are fully automated; the academy has NETLIB software to access the electronic catalogue of the library. E-books, e-Journals etc. can be searched using DELNET software available in the library. Internet and Xerox facilities are also available. An independent Library website has been developed in which 5000 e-books and 350 e-journals are made available on-line.
JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida has separate hostels for Boys and Girls. Boys Hostel has 156 triple seater rooms and has total capacity for 468 boys. All the rooms have attached bathrooms. Boy’s hostel is just half a km away from the campus. Girls Hostel is inside the campus and has a capacity to accommodate 430 girls. JSS Amenity Center is a mini market place within the campus. It has a fast food outlet, a bank extension counter with ATM facilities, a stationary shop, a public STD booth, a health center, a laundry shop etc. The amenity center provides all the basic needs of the students within the Campus wall.
JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida offers Bachelor of Technology in affiliation with the Uttar Pradesh Technical University in the different branches: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Manufacturing Technology and Civil Engineering. The college has been ranked 9th in terms of theory exam results in the B.Tech degree course. JSS Academy of Technical Education also offers Post-Graduate programmes, which are: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Manufacturing Technology, Masters of Computer Applications, and Master of Business Administration.

At current rate, JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida are set to override Japan to become the third largest economy which is presently at fourth place. It is a well known fact that India has emerged as the biggest back office in the world.It is the young generation of India which stands to gain a lot from this growth story. Our Academy has done exceedingly well with respect to placements 369 students of 2008 batch have been placed so far and we are still counting. More than 123 students have got two plum appointments from the big banner Industries. Technology firms are busy revising their hiring outlook for the year and the graph is heading downwards. According to analysts, the country’s net technical hiring for the fiscal will be down by a lakh as against the outlook of over 4 lakhs earlier this year. In 2006-07, about 5 lakh IT/ITES professionals were hired as against 4 lakh in the previous year. So this year’s expected figure could be the lowest in 3 years. The optimist in me says there is always room at the top. JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida students have already proved their credibility in the market and downsizing the national placements in the IT sector shall not deter the companies to come to elite colleges like ours and our placements will be unaffected for the 2009 batch as well. Relentless efforts are on to rope in more and more companies for placements. Training and Placement Centre in JSSATE, NOIDA is very vibrant and is instrumental in providing jobs to our students and arranging their summer training. Ever its insception, the Centre is putting on relentless efforts to invite as many companies as possible to the campus for selection of our pre-final and final year students.
JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida-JSSATE Noida has the international linkages with foreign Universities and various other organizations. A Product Life Cycle Management Competency Centre in collaboration with Ministry of National Education, Govt. of France and Dassault Systemes, France has been established to train students in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. The new advanced welding center is under construction for the students of JSS, which willl impart the advance techniques used in the industry in the field of welding.The Advanced Welding Center is being developed with the collaboration of Finland. Apart from the above JSS has joint venture with Wilkes University for the Engineering Programmemes for the students of JSS.
